JCE presents new ID Card design featuring national symbols and tribute to Juan Pablo Duarte

Santo Domingo.- The Central Electoral Board (JCE), led by its president Román Jáquez Liranzo, presented to the Duartian Institute and the Permanent Commission of Patriotic Ephemerides (CPEP) the official designs of the new Dominican Identity and Electoral Card. The designs prominently feature the national coat of arms and an image of the founding father, Juan Pablo Duarte, as part of efforts to modernize the document while reinforcing national identity. The presentation aimed to obtain formal approval from both institutions, which safeguard the correct use of national symbols. Jáquez Liranzo emphasized that the new card will integrate patriotic, cultural, and environmental elements to reflect Dominican heritage.
