Senate approves first reading of Labor Code reform

Santo Domingo.- The Senate of the Dominican Republic approved on first reading the organic bill that reforms Law 16-92, the Labor Code, marking a major step toward modernizing labor legislation. The initiative, presented by several senators and supported by 29 votes, seeks to adapt the legal framework to technological advances and the current labor market.
